Belly dancing is not merely a physical exercise, but rather a celebration of femininity, self-expression, and empowerment, wherein women acknowledge their bodies and sensuality, challenging societal norms and embracing their inner strength.

Current Class Offerings
Belly dance classes are offered in focused 4-week series that build progressively, allowing dancers to move together with flow, intention, and confidence.
Each series centers on foundational technique, musical connection, and embodied movement, with material developing week to week. This format supports deeper learning, stronger confidence, and a more connected class experience for all levels.
Classes are located inside The Movement Studio at From the Ground Up Therapy & Wellness, located at 2322 Osborne Road, St. Marys, GA 31558.
This beautiful space is part of a 10,000 sq ft wellness center, created to support connection, movement, and personal growth in every session.

Rooted in Rhythm is a progressive belly dance series focused on grounded movement, musical connection, and strong foundational technique. This course emphasizes posture, rhythm awareness, fluid transitions, and simple combinations that build week to week.
Designed for dancers who want to move with intention rather than rush through choreography, this series supports confidence, body awareness, and a deeper relationship with the music. Classes move at a steady pace, allowing the group to progress together while exploring flow, strength, and expression.
Open to beginners and returning dancers.
No prior dance experience required.
